Sailing Around The Oceans Of The World – The Gift Of A Lifetime
My parents raised six of their own kids and helped to raise 10 grandkids as well. When it was time for them to retire, we children chipped in to send them on a cruise they remember for the rest of their lives. We put our money together and went to Travelocity coupons to plan for a transpacific cruise. Raising children didn’t leave them any time to see the world more than a few miles from our neighborhood and we wanted to show our appreciation for all they had done for us. Only a Grand cruise around the world would suffice.
Destinations and Ports of Call
Travelocity allowed us to package a vacation they would never have considered for themselves. They visited faraway ports such as Hong Kong China, Syndey, Kenya and Singapore. In China they were amazed by such attractions as Lantau Island and the Po Lin Monastery. They soaked up some sun at Cheung Sha Beach. My grandparents felt like quite the world travelers as they asked on the sand.
In Mombasa they got a taste of adventure when they explored Mombasa National Park and Reserve and went snorkeling at the Marine Reserve Area so they could see first-hand the beautiful coral reefs that give the ocean life. You can access the marine park from the beaches of Shanzu, Bamburi and Nyali. We didn’t believe it ourselves until we saw the shots they took during such an amazing feat.
When they arrived in Singapore they stopped at the Singapore Discovery Centre so that they could begin to understand the Singapore lifestyle. These are just some of the amazing ports of call they visited.
Onboard
Exquisite dining, ballroom dancing, gambling, and a wide array of activities were available on board in which they took part in. On days when they needed to chill for a bit from all the activities, they lazed around the pool and made new friends with whom they still keep in touch. The beauty of sunset upon the ocean is a sight that must be seen to be believed they told us.
When you are ready to sail around the globe you should check out Travelocity so that you can book your vacation and cruise the oceans this world has to offer!
