Within a few weeks I am off to Hawaii for a care-free respite of fun in the sunny state. However living in a land-locked area of the continental United States, I am really much more habituated to snowy, even while in the spring time.

I’ve created a long list of things to be taken care of before I feel prepared for my respite from the rigors of life, a few items more important than others. However the one I am sharing in this blog involves the pale tone of my skin.

I know that it is a myth that building a foundation tan might help you preclude burning, but that does not halt me from feeling shy about appearing so ghostly white and void of skin color in an area where almost everyone is habituated to dressing in little to nothing all the while playing in the sun.

So to assist me to feel at ease and care-free during my cherished and uncommon vacation time, I’ve investigated the easiest ways to build a normal looking bronze before hitting the beautiful Hawaii beaches.

One option could be airbrush tan. With this sunless suntanning selection, I can have a professional tanning studio meticulously compose and tone my bronze to my spec.

I do understand that some friends believe I should attempt to employ a commercial suntanning bed instead of a sunless spray bronze, but I’m not crazy about excessively prolonging my UV exposure. The minimal amount of melanin in my humble hide may make me particularly susceptible to skin harm.

I’m hoping to dismiss my skin shyness so I may fully relax and relish my vacation, not commence a chronic campaign to produce symptoms of skin cancer or white spots after tanning.

It is indeed my understanding that those white spots from tanning are more likely to happen with salon bronzing beds, either because of a fungus picked up in a less-than-sanitary public facility or because of spots or lines in my skin created from the pressure points of reposing in the bed.

So I have isolated my spray suntaning to a small number of well-established bronzing parlors. I might just snatch a sunless tanning cream to employ in the privacy of my home, but I do believe I’ll begin with a professional sunless tan than maintain it with a sunless bronzing cream.

From my research, I am positive I can obviate the hokey appearance that folks pigeonhole of the sunless tan, but I guess you never know for sure until you attempt it yourself. I’ll be certain to refine my sun-free bronze well before I leave for vacation so I can evolve the process and perfect my suntan to look my most attractive when I get there.
